Never pay for a call whilst you are on holiday

Wey hey, its holiday time again and we are all looking forward to going away and enjoying ourselves in the sunand sand or whatever you might be doing.

Many of us love to take our mobile phones abroad with us in order to keep in touch with friends and family, the down side to this is that when the bill arrives it can sometimed be a killer.

I just thought I'd share a few tips on how to get stung by huge phone bills. You must be aware that you do get charged when you even answer a call or even listen to your voicemail whilst abroad. So here are a few tips.

1. Get people to email you instead.

2. Turn off your voicemail

3. Let friends and family know that you are on holiday and get them to email you instead.

4. If using your phone abroad is essential, talk to your network provider as they may have some special offers for global roaming.

5. You may want to purchase a sim card and insert it in your phone and provide the number to those who you may want to be contacted by.

I am hoping that these tips are able to save you money on your phone bills.

Would You Read this Now Or Later Or Get Stung?

I have been providing information on how to ensure that you all are able to make an informed judgment on how to get the best out of your mobile phone. At its best the information which I have provided has allowed many to avoid paying for their mobile phone calls, and this is all legal and applicable mostly to those who have a contract.

I strongly believe that this has helped many of you and also saved you money as well.

Now, another important thing that you should always look out for when choosing a mobile phone network is the network's coverage. Before signing up for a contract or even when buying a pay as you go phone. Please make sure that you are able to find out whether there is coverage in your location, or even the locations in which you intend on using the phone. Ignoring this important aspect could leave you with a phone with which you are unable to make calls from or even receive call with. This may also mean that you may still be charged the full line rental for the duration of the contract. So never over look this simple are because you have fallen in love with a particular phone. Do your research and avoid getting stung.

What use is a mobile phone when you can't even use it in your own home?

I hope this post has been able to open your eyes into something that many of us overlook.

Stop getting shocked when your mobile phone bill arrives?

Many of us have had a nasty shock as when we get our dreaded mobile phone bill, especially when the bill is larger than what we expected. Despite being provided with free minutes and free text which we assumed was adequate for our needs some people still seem to get a huge mobile phone bill.

The reason can be down to the lack of monitoring of the calls and text or either.

There is a way of monitoring your text and free minutes and this is buy activating the minute counter, most phones have this feature and also a message count. By activating these features its is easier to monitor the minutes and text on a daily basis by just having a quick glance. The function will tell you how many minutes or text you have used and this number can be deducted from the number of free minutes or text which you have been provided by your chosen mobile phone operator.

Monitoring your calls and text will ensure that you never get a shock when your mobile phone bill arrives.
